no I do not believe it will bring down the value, first off a cold air intake is a very common mod and everyone does it and even the dealerships realize this (MOPAR even sells a CAI kit) - second if you go with a tuner, like Diablo you can always change the setting back to exact settings that came with the motor stock, the nice thing about the Diablo tuner is you can do custom tunes in case you decide to get heavy in modding, it will read and clear codes and so forth - the Hemi motor loves to run cold so the combination of a CAI and a lower thermostat makes the Hemi want to run
